For the love of Grandma

Grandma Keren came to see us from Tucson last week and we had a perfect visit. Although the time together was too short, we thoroughly enjoyed our daily ladies luncheons, naps, shopping, and just spending time together.

A perfect "stay-at-home and wear your sweat pants" kind of day

So many kisses, so little time

The next best thing to going to the spa

All dressed up and ready for lunch at the French cafe

Lauren found her fingers this week. And Grandma found all of Lauren's pink outfits!

We miss you already Grandma!

V is for "Valentines Day"... and for vacation

The Thomas family has a wonderful first Valentines Day with Lauren.

Guess who is loved?

What's a girl to do with all of these cards and gifts?

As you know we love to travel, but a beach vacation just isn't in our plans for this year. So being the romantic that he is, Bryon brought the beach to us with our very own custom-made beach vacation cake.

Thank you Daddy. It's the perfect getaway!

Rock Chalk Jayhawk

Let's do cart wheels and hand-stands everyone! This week the University of Kansas became the #1 college basketball team in the nation.

That's right! Pull out your Baby Jayhawk attire and let's get excited for March Madness!!!!

On the other hand...if your team loses to Kansas State and only maintains their #1 status for one short week, then go back to playing with Daddy in the exersaucer. That's super fun too.

7 Months Old and Rockin' my 70-year Old Chair

I'm officially 7 months old. What a wonderful month I've had. I'm sleeping through the night (generally speaking), enjoying all kinds of baby food, sitting up, and getting cuter every day.

To celebrate my big day, Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Kathy surprised me with a brand new rocking chair. Well..brand new to me, but it was actually my Grandpa Jerry's childhood chair in which he sat about 70 years ago. The chair has been re-done to match my bedroom and Grandma Kathy even made a special blanket for my future baby doll.

Thank you for the wonderful surprise that I am sure to cherish always.
