Too good to pass up

And one final picture of Lauren on her first Easter. Who knew a pacifier, Barbie sunglasses and an Easter dress could look so good!

Easter in the Desert

Grab your hats (and sombreros) everyone and get ready to see Lauren's Easter adventure in the Desert.

Last week the Thomas's headed to Arizona for baby's first Easter with her family. It was a fun filled weekend full of many "firsts".

Lauren's first introduction to Southwest art (or should we say artifacts?) by her Grandpa Bob.

Cousin Sam won Lauren her first stuffed animal. He shares and he's handsome. The BEST cousin ever!

Lauren also met her Uncle Dylan for the first time. He was a huge hit!

Waking up on Easter Sunday with my favorite bunny. Hey Aunt Jerris "where did the other half of my Easter ears go"?

Off to my first Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Keren and Grandpa Jim's house.

Lauren isn't sure what this is all about but the butterfly ears are a fashion MUST.

Last but not least was dressing up in her Easter party dress (thank you Grandma) and heading to brunch with the Easter Bunny who is only slightly less scarey than Santa.

Thank goodness Cousin Sam and Uncle Michael were there to lead the way.

We had a hippity hoppin time in Arizona. Two sets of Grandparents, two uncles, one aunt and one cousin later, Lauren was undoubtedly showered in Easter love. Till next time...

A Small Fish in a Big Sea

Lauren started her first swimming lessons this month and she is sure to be quite the swimmer.

Holding on to Daddy...just in case.

Lauren's version of water aerobics.

Note to self: Carefully arch your back before diving into the pool. It gives you just the momentum you need for a big splash.

Whew! So much exercise for such a little girl.

Nine Months Old

I'm now nine months old and this has been a BIG month for me.

Just this past week I learned how to clap my hands together, I started eating dairy (love the yogurt), and I can say "Mama" and actually know who that lady is.

I now weigh 15 pounds, 15 ounces and measure over 25 inches. I am getting very close to weighing as much as my cat, Opus.

I got another haircut (every 6-8 weeks for maintenance ladies).

And I attended my very first swim class where I was the only baby in my class who didn't cry.

Check back soon to see what other wonderful things I'm about to do!
