Let the tears flow.

The dreaded day is upon us.

The day most parents must vividly remember (and not fondly) in their memories.

Yes, it's true...We have now officially become known as "Mom and Dad".

Not Mommy or Daddy.

But "Mom and Dad".

What's next? Borrowing Mom's lipstick and asking for our car keys???

A Snow Day with Scoopy Scoopy

After two very mild winters, our Texas girl is finally getting to see some snow this year. So we put on our snow suits and headed out to make the perfect Snowman.

Introducing "Scoopy Scoopy".

That is, until Lauren started to eat him.

Snow Angels are fun!

Christmas 2012 was even more fun and more memorable than the last. We spent the day with Grandma Susie, Aunt Coni and Uncle John and Lauren quickly seemed to get over her fear of "Ho Ho" once the presents arrived. She was spoiled with a new baby doll, Mr. Potato Head, a tunnel, books, and even MORE Dora paraphenelia. Say it isn't so?

After a very nice Christmas Brunch, we played all day and then headed out to the neighborhood bar and grill. Getting out allowed Lauren to run around freely and for the family not to have to cook.

A "win/win" for all!

This baby doll cries when she doesn't have her binky. We are still looking for where to remove the batteries.
