Kickin' It

Mom! Mom!  I want to play soccer.  

When can we play soccer?  

PLEASE let me play soccer.

So off to 4-day soccer camp we went.

But then...

It had been raining for days so my pink shoes got dirty.

And the coach was from England 

so I couldn't understand a single word he was saying.

Isn't it "SOCKER" not "SUCKER"?

And then you kick the ball.

And then you kick the ball again.

And then you talk to other kids about kicking the ball.

Perhaps I'm re-thinking this.  Let's go shopping!

It's Slip n Slide Time

You say it's 64 degrees out?

And that I have no body fat to keep me warm?

Well I say put on your big girl suit and jump on in because the slide n slide is up!

Our Month in Review

Lauren officially graduated from preschool in May, so the Summer festivities are now in full swing. Although she goes to daycare full-time until Fall, we have found a way to pack in many fun things (hence Mom's inability to keep the blog updated). In just a couple of short weeks we have...

Found a new Summer crush

Won the lottery 

Spent our lottery winning on shoes (of course!)

and got reacquainted with ice-cream after a cold Winter.
